Vancity Lofts hand picks the juiciest lofts
Check out our Top 3!
February is proving to be a busy month in the loft world. Less than a week in and we have already seen 15 sexy new lofts hit the market. This made for a tough job for our curating team, but pretty sure the following will not disappoint.
502 - 310 WATER ST, VANCOUVER The Taylor Building is one of Gastown's best examples of a heritage conversion. This was Salient Group’s inaugural project and it still stands as one of the better conversions to date - plenty of exposed brick and fir beams combined with large heritage windows take you back to the days of old Gassy Jack. Add in a roof deck and this one is a sure winner! Penthouses at the Taylor building are so very rare, we'll see this one get scooped quickly.
414 - 1529 W 6TH AVE, VANCOUVERLive, Work, or Both? WSIX is a very unique example of purpose built live/work lofts in False Creek. This unit is arguably the best units in the building. With North, East, and South exposure, you will have no shortage of natural light and vistas to gaze at. The deck is 720 sq ft. Yes…720 sqft! For some perspective, that's bigger than the roof deck at the new Trump tower, and almost the same size as this unit itself. Sexy new home or one of the most unique offices in the city?
701 - 219 EAST GEORGIA ST, VANCOUVER For this week’s #3 spot, we'd like to point out a little gem in Chinatown. The Flats on Georgia are 28 newly completed lofts in the heart of Vancouver’s most emerging neighbourhood. With their yellow louvers and modern style, this building was the first of its kind in Chinatown, and in some ways, marked the start of what was to come. As Chinatown continues to see development and new business, The Flats are fitting in nicely alongside new chinatown neighbours like Matchstick Coffee and Mamie Taylors.
