Donita Dyer isn't afraid to make big moves. At the tender age of 24, this ebullient adventure-seeker packed up her VW Fox and moved from small-town Alberta to the big city. Upon settling in Vancouver, Donita threw herself wholeheartedly into leadership roles at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Travelmasters, and Tourism Vancouver. During these exciting years, she fine-tuned her sales and marketing skills and saw the world. These invaluable experiences further fueled Donita's desire to evolve and explore and led her to a career in BC's wine industry.
For five fun (and vino) filled years, Donita worked as a sought-after expert, marketer, and sales associate for award-winning wineries and Global Distribution Agencies in the Okanagan and beyond. She also built Donita Dyer Communications, a boutique marketing company that curates the best in wine, food, and travel experiences. But Donita's thirst for new challenges began to override her taste for OK cabernet. And soon she found herself back in Vancouver, the vibrant, multicultural city she loves. Donita believes that home is where every story begins, and upon her return, she began harnessing those years of entrepreneurial experience to help others find their home and write their own new story. Donita is also an active philanthropist and is committed to donating a portion of her real estate earnings to charities like One Girl Can, BCSPA, and the David Suzuki Foundation. And that's definitely another big move in the right direction.
