You don't have to be one of those annoying dragon boaters (STROKE!) or an Olympic Athlete to love False Creek.  There's just something cool and consistent about this former industrial area.  Perhaps it's the world famous Granville Island Public Market and all of it's artsy inhabitants or maybe it's the fact that people move in and never leave. False Creek (the water body) meanders it way through many Vancouver neighbourhoods. One could even argue that it defines Vancouver. However, the sub neighbourhood of "False Creek" is a relatively small area that stretches from Cambie to Burrard and just a few blocks in from the water.
