This weekend's Open Houses are for the Yaletown buff. A few new listings and a few older ones. All in Yaletown and all begging for a visit. The weather is supposed to hold, so stop for a coffee, have a little tour, take a walk on the seawall and end your afternoon with some oysters at Rodney's. If I were looking at open's this weekend, I'd be checking these out.
412-988 Richards OPEN Saturday 2-4 $629,000 - Tribeca Lofts - Is this Vancouver's version on the iconic New York hood. Well, almost. The two level loft does have 18' ceilings, solid finishings and is located on a prime Yaletown block. You tell me if it's NYC.
1407-1238 Richards OPEN Sunday 2-4 $539,000 - Make your way back to Richards Street on Sunday. This brand new listings at Metropolis calls. Fully renovated 761 sqft of loft goodness. Water view and the building is loaded, gym, roof deck, spa. Custom cabinets and a kitchen to envy. Check out of of my favorite purpose built lofts in Yaletown.
2200-1280 Richards OPEN Sunday 12-2 $3,799,000 Do you know who Robert Ledingham is? Have you seen his work? Well, now is your chance. The Grace building, is renowned on it's own, and is home to this exquisite work. Nothing spared, nothing missed, the attention to detail is impeccable. Notice it as you walk through - no door casings, no baseboards, no light switches visible. It's a Ledingham classic. 3,156 sq ft and four balconies. It's a pleasure to see
502-1155 Mainland OPEN Sunday 2-4 $998,000 Classic conversion in Yaletown. 2 Bed and 2 bath over 1,300 sq ft. Ledingham made it twice on the list. The Del Prado is one of his first projects. Converted in 1996. Tons of brick and tons of character.
$850,000 Yes, I know H & H doesn't really classify as a loft, but this townhouse is worth a look. Two level and almost 1,300 sq ft. That's $668/ft. Not bad for 2008 build in Yaletown.
Check these out. Have an afternoon. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy the weekend. Enjoy the real estate.
